But the request isn't based on density, weight, size or even armor. Only
that it have tracks instead of wheels. Hence, what couldn't they test with
a wheeled V100 that they can test with a tracked M113.

Weight? Size for size, tracked vehicles are generally heavier, but most of
that additional weight is due to the track assembly themselves. The
heaviest vehicles around are wheeled. ie M4 Sherman=70,000 pounds. M26
hauling M4 Sherman= >70,000 pounds.

Oh, what the heck. Send them a halftrack then they've got it all.
