Does anyone have experience with a Gamagoat engine swap, to something other
than the deisel. I have a friend who is getting ready to put a Chevy V8 in
a goat. In my opinion a V6 would be a better choice, but I really don't
have much to base that on. Just seems like the V8 would be too much power
(he assures me it's gonna fit, I have my doubts). Would there be a better
engine to use?
The original 353 now powers a boat and he would like to use a gas engine in
the hope it would make the vehicle quieter and more tolerable to drive.
Sounds reasonable to me. Has it been done? Comments or suggestions?
And thanks to all who provided info on "big guns". I am now the proud
owner of a 1943 57mm M1.
