I just acquired a 46' Chevy tow truck (sorry Civilian) but I believe that
this question may have some merit for MV's. The truck came out of a 16
year storage inside the tires were not dryrotted at all they just seem a
little hard. Will the hardnedd shorten the tire life at all? Is there any
way to soften up the rubber at all? I know that many MV's are sometimes
kept in storage for years and comming out of storage is common, this is why
I am asking. Also cause I don't want to spring for new tires when these
are brand new, less than 50 miles. 6 7.00x17.50 cannot be cheap!
