Greetings All;

Many thanks to Maurelo for sharing the url for Memphis Equipment's web
page. I went there and they had specs on all of the vehicles they sell and
so I checked out the ol' 715s. There were some major changes between what
they were advertising and what is in the catalog I have (from them).
Either there were some changes between model years standard equipment or
Memphis made some changes when they refurbish the trucks. Someone recently
asked if 715s ever had 258 cu in engines and was looking for a source of
that engine. The spec sheet shows the standard engine to be a 258 with a
carter carb (not a holley like the old catalog shows) and only a 5 qt
engine oil capacity (my old 230 cu in holds 6 qts). The page is well worth
looking at as they have M-37s and "Deuce and a halfs" as well.
