[MV] Need Help In Dallas, TX.

If you ever wonder if "finds" are still out there, they are. I am currently
restoring a 1942 Burma Jeep in the Dallas area and inadvertently, a month ago,
drove upon a slightly rusted M41 Walker Bulldog tank that I thought was a M24
Chaffee. I found the owner with a little work, he corrected me proving it was
a Walker by showing me the pristine manual, and it seems he is going to give
me the tank if I will remove it. He considers it scrap iron and scrap dealers
don't want to go to the trouble to move it. The tank is complete with 547
miles on the odometer.

I have one major problem that prevents me from moving the tank. I need a
place in the Dallas area to move it to. My wonderful bride is not to hip on
me adding a tank to my list of projects, so I need a place to put it. It is
ten feet wide so it does not roll easily through most doors! It is, however,
rated a Light Tank weighing only 25 tons!

Does anyone in the Dallas area have a place to store/work on this project. I
am open to all suggestions. I am not interested in selling it. I am
interested in local groups or partners to help restore it. I would
appreciate any Dallas area ideas or help in saving/restoring an operational
Bulldog.
