Brian,
There are different time frames for the correct color of your M211.
When we restored my 1952 GMC M135, we chose to follow the
color scheme of that period. George Baxter, of Army Jeep Parts,
Bristol, PA advised me that his AJP/Gillespi Coatings paint in
WWII Semi-Gloss was used from 1944 thru 1957; so I went with it.
When I removed the fording vent cover on the dash board I found
that the unfaded original paint on the inside of that cap to be an
exact match. If you are going to portray a later period than 1957,
you might consider the 24087 Semi-Gloss. The 24087 Gillespi
is also available from Mark @ Rapco in Texas.
