Hi All,
The PT boat next to the USS Texas is PT 309, which is a Higgins 77
ft. Boat. It is owned by The Nimitz Museum out of Fredricksburg Tex.
Parts of the cabin came from PT 308 which was beached and rotting in
the North East US. 309 came from New York. There are also two late
war PT boats, an Elco 80' and a Higgins 77' at Fall River, Mass. along
side the USS Massachusetts. There are several PT web sites on the net.
