Dear list members,

On my M38A1, the title has (VIN) RMD62396, (Year) 1954, (Make) WILL, (Body
Style) JEP, (Model) RMD. (1) I know that the VIN is supposed to be (MD),
but is the rest of the information correct? (2) If anyone out there has a
1954 can you clarify this for me?
My second problem is Data Plates. My vehicle didn't come with any, that's
why I'm concerned with the VIN #. (1) Is my VIN for a 1954 model? (2) How
can I get the information on the responsible agency plate and the
identification plate, like delivery date, and inspected by? (3) I know Mark
at Rapco has the data plates, but does he do the stamping ? I thought I'd
ask the list before I made a long distance call. (4) Is there a serial #
stamped on the frame somewhere? The engine # starts with MD, but I can't
remember the rest without kooking.
Thanks in advance for the answers.
