[MV] vehicle identification

Listors,

I would like to ask that you help educate those of us who want to know
more. I would like to ask that vehicles be listed by their common name
as well as their military designations. Listings like M48, M151, M38
all mean something to someone but not to us all. Especially when it
comes to M1, which can mean any number of things!

There must be more here than myself who are confused here and could
use the help!!!
