I throughly enjoyed the annual convention at Tobyhanna, I brought
my family and a friend and we were on site from Wed through Sat night.
I had the opportunity to say hi to Scott and George Sebring of Red
Ball and had the good luck to stay at the Holiday Inn express with Lee
Holland, Gary Smith, Terry of White Owl, etc. Everything from the
venders to the vehicles on exhibit, food and the entertainment was
great!!! They say that copying is the greatest form of flattery so I
hope the Red Ball MVPA does not mind if I try and incorporate the jeep
balancing and car crushing events at our Aberdeen Proving Ground
Rally. Thanks also to Kay and Jerry for the extra copies of the
magazines, they come in handy down here at APG.

My only down side observation was that many of the venders still
want to think that there is a "trash collection" service at the
rallies. Some of the sites I saw as I departed late Sat night were a
mess with styrofoam, plastic and cardboard around the sites. I don't
know the status for Sunday morning but here at Aberdeen the WAC/B&G
club members have to go through this every year. My 11 year old
daughter was distraught after policing our area to see a neighbor pile
his trash next to our trailer at L32-34. At my urging he dragged it
back to their cluttered site. What is the matter with some people?

Again to all the Red Ball MVPA, thanks for hosting the National!!!
I know its a lot of work but your efforts were appreciated.
