[MV] M38A1C about to be crushed

First let me ask if the "C" version of the M38A1 is the long CJ6 type, or
is the "C" the recoil-less rifle version?

If it isn't the CJ6 type, what is the Military number for the longer one?

I just found one yesterday at the local junk yard. They keep the
vehicles 2-3 weeks for people to scavenge off from then crush what's
left. The tub is complete with some dents, but no rust. No rear seat,
but fronts are there. Engine was swapped, but no significant cutting
done to achieve it. Running gear is complete, and turns free. Original
(or close to original) Cooper Cross Country NDT's on the wheels. You can
see the original olive drab behind the dash, etc. The wiring still has
the water tight pug connectors in areas. No data plates.

Here's the kicker. They won't sell it. They don't have a title and will
not sell with out one. I talked to two different managers, same answer.
It will be crushed unless I can come up with some new angle. Here's the
name and address of the place if anyone else wants to give it a try.

Any good salesman out there? I just hate to see it crushed.
