I actually stopped at this place about 2 years ago while passing
through La. It was closed at the time, but I was able to speak
with a gentleman there. I believe it was possibly Mr. Thibodeaux
although its been a while.
Unfortunately, I just passed back through Lafayette last week
and didn't think to exit I-!0 to see if the place was open as
I was making my return trip. I thought about it on the way
there, but it was ~0000hrs. I went to Eastern La. to visit
one of my friends. From there we went to the NAS flight museum
in Pensacola. That was worth the trip by itself.
I tried a web search too for Loisiana Military Museums but
passed up on the Lafayette museum because I thought I was looking
for a different place.
