Rail transporting a truck can be very costly, and a very large headache. I
know of several MV dealers who move trucks by rail on a semi-regular basis.

A lot of it would depend on finding a railroad that is customer friendly,
and ramps to get the vehicle loaded and unloaded. Public ramps at rail
terminals are not as common as they used to be.
