I am working on a M151, and I need some info:
The Body serial number plate (Located on the left front chassis rail) is the only one that remains with the vehicle, It is SN 14361
I have obtained a blank dash plate, and I need info to fill in the rest of the blanks.
The vehicle is supposed to be a '62, it has most of the early details (Flat air cleaner top, screw adjust seat, magnesium wheels.
The questions are:
1- Is the body serial number the same as the MFG Serial number?
2- Is there a way to cross reference from the body number to the contract number and MFG and date of delivery?
3- What size stamps do I use.
4- If some one could photocopy an original plate so I could reference the spacing and etc. and mail me the copy, I would be happy to pay for your trouble.
Any help would be appreciated.
