What is a reasonable amount to pay for an engine head "as is" for =

an M135 (302 engine) ??
<
Since it is being sold as is, and you haven't said if you have any
knowledge of the history of the head (number of miles, last valve grind,
etc), with or without springs, etc. I'd say that you are looking at
$35-90 max since you have to assume that it is at best a rebuildable cor=
e.
(It could possibly be only good for scrap!) If you have it magnafluxe=
d
and you find that it has cracks through the valve seats, then you have lo=
st
your money. If it had been already been checked for cracks, straightness=
,
valves checked, ground, valve guides checked and reconditioned, springs
checked for tension, etc, then I'd say it could be worth as much as $200 =
or
more. Are you selling or buying?
