Hi,

I just got signed on to the list. I have two 1952 M-135 one to run
and one for parts, two mil-gen-sets MEP-017A and MEP-018A and a few
M-416 trailers, I also have an R-390 A/URR radio receiver.

Okay, so now that we have gone over how to put lock rings on the
wheels, can anyone give me an easy way to get them off, I've been
sawing the tires off with a saw-zall, not good for tires you might
want to save, but it is kind of fun. I've tried putting the tires
under the front of the M-135 and using a high lift jack to break the
bead but all it did was raise the front of the truck. How'd they do
it in the field?

As a point of interst, maybe, my father drove an armored tank
retreiver in WW 2.

Thanks,

Joe
