[MV] MB engine and tub serial

My 42 MB (Canadian lot) has what I believe to be a just post-war engine - the
head has the word Jeep cast in and the engine serial is 3J129371. Anyone know
what vehicle it came from? Second question - did the body serial number
originally match the frame serial? Mine has frame tag 170425 with body serial
71862. Is this typical of an original pairing? This vehicle stayed in Canada
throughout the war and therefore was not rebuilt as per many of the European
theatre jeeps.
