Try the General Patton Museum at Chiriaco Summit; Interstate 10, about 50 miles west of Blythe. Quite a few tanks parked out front. If you happen to be at Sand Stone Canyon in Anza-Borrego this weekend, you might see an M38A1.

How's this for a long shot -
I'm booked on a last-minute vacation (leaving Thursday) which will involve
9 days on a bus rambling around the southwestern deserts of California/
Nevada. The planned itinerary is: Deep Creek, Anza Borrego Desert State
Park, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Sonoran Desert, Picacho Peak -
Beaver Creek, Willow Beach Lake Mojave, Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley.

Seems I can't go anywhere these days without wondering what MVs I may be
missing out on as I drive by - even in Death Valley! So, anything I should
try and steer the driver towards?

Thanks
