Remember on all of these, you have a lot of truck to get moving with not a lot
of power. Hills and stop and go driving along with the load carried
kill the fuel mileage. On my WW2 CCKW's, I can get from ~3 to about ~10-12
mpg. The best mileage is unloaded, on the flat and non-stop at around 35 mph.
