I am restoring a Willys MB jeep.Could someone possibly help me
with an approximate serial number and D.o.D .
I believe it is 1943 although it has a composite body with a number
252523 on the left body gusset.The engine serial number is MB301013
and the casting numbers are 9-8 638632-W4 A NI-CR ' 2 unfortunately
the frame serial number is missing.
All the parts seem to be correct for a 1943/44 jeep the only history
I know is that someone started a restoration about 35 years ago
and it had not been touched until now,it did have the markings 82AB 307E
on the bumpers although these may have been painted on 35 years ago
maybe from original markings.
I would appreciate any help.
