When I did mine, I used the stock Chevvy floor shifter for the 4 wheel
drive. It only required a longer arm. This was with the turbo 400 of course.
With the stock 715 tranny and transfer, there is no modification at all. I
have two completed conversions out back right now. 1SG PANTANO
