i've tip-toed through the archives and know from others
experiences that 2-1/2 tonners + NDT tires + icey or wet pavement
equals a big fat don't do it. since i would like to drive my 2-1/2 m109
in the winter also, my question is; does anyone have a brand of civilian
tires that they have had good luck with (size 9.00 X 20.00) and if so
how much did they cost. since i'm on a bit of a budget and have to buy
10 of these big-assed tires i'd kinda like to know so i know how much
begging i'm going to have to do with the wife. i have a shop that will
swap and balance them for next to nothing and split rims don't upset them,
so i got lucky there. i would be greatly appreciative of any help or
advise
anyone might have on driving these in adverse conditions. thanks all.
