RE [MV] winter driving

I'll second the 'a little snow, ice or rain' and you better be prepared for
trouble. They go GREAT in deep snow.

RE 10 tires: not necessarily so.

Consider

1. All you really need is 6 bigger tires than the NDT's You run them on the
front and inside rear on the duals. The outside duals are then for looks

2. If you have an air (or manual) shift for the front axle, you may be able to
get away with the NDT's on the front if you assume you will just use the front
drive in deep snow.

3. If you are concerned about steering with a deuce (and you should be), you
might be able to get away with slightly larger civy tires just on the front to
aid in cornering and pulling you thru corners etc.

I have done all of these at one time or another with my CCKW cargo.
