As a former film student (years ago) I can say that often the negative
is reversed if the actor was shot facing one direction and in editing,
he needed to face the other way. You know, the rebs are attacking from
the left side of the screen and the yanks are attacking from the
right.....
Could be the jeep is a stock vehicle and they just needed to flop the
image.
If anyone has a copy of the tape and wants to pin this down, see if
more than one jeep is in the shot and if all have the steering wheel
on the same side. Or, look for some markings and see if they are
reversed.
