52 M38 for sale, restoration nearly completed. Have nearly everything
to complete except the time to do it. If you want an M38, this is the
Jeep for you. Here's what's done:

Frame was sandblasted, primed and painted, and has a rebuilt engine,
transmission, transfer, drive shafts, and axles all installed. All new
brakes including shoes, turned drums, all hoses and lines, and master
cylinder w/ brake light switch. Five original M38 rims with 5 brand new
NDT tires. Rebuilt steering box with all new tie rod ends. Full new
exhaust including NOS muffler and fording pipe. NOS rear cross member/
front bumper. Original skid plate, pintle, and bumperettes all in good
shape.

Engine has zero miles; new carb and hoses; new correct vacuum pump;
rebuilt generator; NOS 24v distributor, plug wires, and plugs; and brand
new complete 24v wiring harness for entire vehicle still in box, brand
new fuel line set.

Have two body tubs, one rough but with all original hardware and one
that needs only minor restoration. Original hood, fenders, grill, and
windshield frame in great shape, sandblasted. Have all pieces for dash
(light switch, fording cable, etc.), all three seats, original top bows
with hardware, NOS winter top with collapsable door frames (but no doors
or side curtains), new data plate set, spare tire holder, gas can holder
w/ original can, NOS headlight guards (not from mighty mite), slave
socket.

Also have two complete radio sets for vehicle, including mounts, power
sources, transmitters, receivers, mics, speakers, and numerous antennae
and antenna mounts including one MP-50 and two of the hard-to-find
mounts that go behind the spare tire. Will sell these units with Jeep
or separately.

I have at least 90% of the parts to complete this Jeep. It will be an
easy project to finish; I just don't have the time to do it and I need
the money for something else. The Jeep needs very little more than
assembly. I am in Memphis. I can try to work with you on shipping if
it is a reasonable distance. I will sell it for just what I have in it,
no profit, which comes to $6000 with the radios or $5300 without them.
This Jeep will be absolutely perfect when assembled, possibly worth
$10000 to $12000 with the radios. The hardest part is already done.
Make me an offer...
