I ran across a GPW yesterday, and I want some input from some of you =
Jeep
guys, as I am a Dodge guy and don=92t know a lot about Jeeps.
Here is what I found:
Data Plate Reads Ford GPW, Date of Delivery 10-42, serial number =
69921,
has an original motor in it, winch on front, and some type of hard top =
spot
welded on. A couple of rust holes in floor pans, but box looks ok, no
outside rust and tailgate is gone with piece of sheet metal across =
there to
block off hole where top comes down. Original wheels and civilian =
tires
(flat).
My question is, what is something like this worth? I would think the =
date
would make this worth something, but like I said I=92m a Dodge guy not =
a jeep
guy. But if the price was right I might become a Dodge and Jeep guy!
