[MV] over reving a diesel

found out the rod had stretched.The piston had a small ring imbeded into the
top from the valve face probably for the springs but the rod had
stretched.This isn't the first time I have come across this but it is very
unusual.Only one rod too!
I also have seen a crooked piston.It was machined that way.Probably someone
fell asleep on the assembly line.And it wasn't a cheap piston either.Drove
us nuts to find the problem too.
