[MV] GPW engine details

I need some advice from the jeep gurus out there on some very specific
(anal?) details concerning GPW engine components.

Carburetor - I have cleaned all parts with Chem-Dip, but they still don't
look "new". I know of several places that offer carb paint that is
supposedly fuel-resistant. It comes in a plain aluminum color or a
bronze color (like the Holley carbs on your Mustang or Camaro). Can anyone
out there who has seen a NOS W-O carb tell me what the proper color is?
Also, there is a cast iron spacer between the carburetor and the manifold.
is it supposed to be engine color (gray in my case)?

Fuel pump - Again, same basic question as above. The bowl seems to have
been cadmium plated at one time, and there is a paint kit offered that
will
simulate cad plating. So would the proper colors be cast aluminum for the
pump body and cad for the bowl?

fuel strainer bowl - what color? OD green, phosphate?

Thanks,
Mike
