There are and were many high mileage carbs invented. The Pogue carb, the fish
carb, the reece carb, the vapour carb, etc. Some used different fuels to get the
mileage others just leaned out the fuel/air mixture so much that you had no
power and burned exhaust valves regularly. The real mileage maker though is
the guys working on water as a fuel. This would upset the whole system if it
ever got out.I can remember in the 70's was an article about a guy in Brazil
who had done it and shortly after his anouncement he disappeared. In the 60's
NASA came up with a catylist wereby you just poured water thru it and it
would convert too Hydrogen and oxygen for the astronauts to use. This unit I
feel could be the trick. It somehow used electricity put to a mesh screen of
some type of material that acted like a catylist to seperate water.Of course
another hush job involved. If you want to change the world, figure out how to
get a car to run on water and advertise it free as fast as possible
otherwise someones going to make alot of money on a 'hit' contract.
