I went to Devens DRMO last week and while checking sale stuff out
watched Rough terrain forklifts and several M35's ( Really , really
rough ) driven into the yard and shut down. I've seen the same at
Portsmouth DRMO. So this rule must vary from site to site or the
equipment drained of fluids may be thought of as " Residue " or "
Scrap " which fall under different rules. DRMO's will not do any
draining and turn in's must comply with regs. What you see is what you
get. Kind of a GUI with grease. Otherwise the Gov't should corner the
market on wreckers. ;-)
For what it's worth.
