I took a trip to British Columbia about eight years ago and met a guy who
had put a Catapiller 3116 with an Allison auto tranny in an M8 (isn't M8 the
one with the turret?) Anyway it was very clean, but a tight squease. Sure
did run nice. Looked all original from the outside.
