Everything you need is available from dealers advertising in Military
Vehicle Magazine and Supply Line Magazine. The swivel twists I
used had a threaded stud and used a nut and lock washer, unlike
some studs that are of the sheet metal thread. I don't know for sure
which is absolutely correct. If you can't get the exact measurements
for the footman loops, line them up with the straps when you hang
the curtains. It's been five years since I did my M38A1 and I sold it,
so I can't look at it, but I think I welded washers on the door rods. If
you only tack weld the washers on, they can be removed later if you
want to make a change.
