If I would of tried to get farm plates for a 54K lb. truck in Indiana it=
would cost somewhere between 300 and 400 dollars. I pay more than $35/yr=
form my old '56 GMC 1/2 ton for plates.

been $10 as a regular truck but that would have required a commercial
chaufeurs lic to drive. Insurance via State Farm as a farm vehicle is
$35 for 6 months. Liability and collision (100/300/100). Inspection at
the tag agent was polite (my gawd that's a big green thing!!)<
