Thanks for all the suggestions. I replaced the plugs and plug wires
without doing anything else and after two minutes of warm up it's up and
running great. Plugs looked like they came from "Kingsford" and were
quite "reluctant" to come out. The military version of a plug wrench is
useless in these cases. I ended up taking the foam out of a standard
deep well plug socket and getting that to work.
My gas tank will wait till next year as in looking inside it was quite
clean and shiny. In tank filter was reallllly clean.
