Dave,
I don't know the exact cause of some turbo chargers whistling. I am
surprised at the amount of questions this topic has posed. When I didn't
have a "whistler" to offer for sale, 90% of the calls I got were from people
wanting a M35A2 with winch and a whistling turbo. I assumed it was a
pretty well known fact although in all my expierience I've only owned two
M35A2 trucks that have the whistling turbo.
