<bigger><bigger><bigger>Gidday List,

The outer track bands on my M29C Weasel were manufactured
using " E " section vee belt clamped to the track plates. " E " section
vee belt can be described as having the form of a standard automotive vee
belt but of larger dimensions. Dimensions are 1 1/2" wide at top of vee,
3/4" wide at base of vee and 1" thick. It is not commonly available.

Unfortunatly the vee belts(outer track bands)on my tracks have
perished and are now beyond repair. I am asking if any list member who
may have some leads on replacement belts. The bands(or belts) are
approximatly 249" long(inside circumference of belt give or take 1/2" or
so) which appears to be an odd size here in Australia. They only can
supply E240 or E300. I suspect that the belts may have been manufactured
by B.F. Goodrich.

I know that there are alternative ways of manufacturing track bands
but it would make it much easier to replace the original belts.

I look forward to any advice list members may have.

John Wilson
