I toyed with the idea of putting a Cummins B59 turbo diesel in my M37, but when I measured it the Cummins was about 2 inches longer than the opening (sigh). The LD is even bigger. Would have been so cool to have that "Cummins Turbo Diesel" emblem off a late-model Dodge Ram on my olive-drab hood, but it was not to be.

Now, I suppose if you are really good, you could lengthen the frame, lengthen the sheet metal, and install M35 springs and running gear, but what a bastard child you would have created.
