Jack on vehicle identification I use Standard Catalog of
US Military Vehicles 1940-65 by Thomas Berndt. It is fairly
inexpensive list at $29.95, found mine for $25. It covers alot
from motorcycles to tanks (trucks and jeeps also). It give alot
of pictures (good for us lazy people) and production, engines, location
of I.D. numbers. There are alot of more in-depth books but price usally
twice
this amount.
