Don't be so naive', guys. The reason DOT told the DOD not to release
those "unsafe" vehicles is very simple--money! I don't see conspericies
in my soup, but I bet dollars to donuts that there is an automotive
lobby that is behind not releasing those vehicles. The automotive lobby
would much rather sell you (and the government) NEW stuff instead of
letting us buy the old stuff. Just plain old capitalism, boys.
