The traditional Australian, New Zealand and British (& p'raps Canadian)
slang for the Artillery is "Dropshorts". It may also be in American usage.

The vehicles that you are about to shortly waste, unless you live up to the
above slang term, is probably not far off the number of Landrovers in use
with the Australian Army.

Where will you be standing when you "take the shots" ?
