A much simpler method is buy some surplus bows from an M series deuce and
cut them down to fit. Just remember to cut the same amount from each end
so the curve is uniform. I've seen this done for M37s, M715 and a WWII
Ford GTB Burma Jeep. Works pretty well and is relatively
cheap......considering the cost of hardwoods.
