Hi Morgan and list,

I called a local (PA) junkyard and they had a 235 for 150.00 I will
look at it this weekend. I don't know how complete it is, but from the
conversation I had with the office help, it is still in a vehicle. I
hope I get the manifolds/water pump/brackets etc.

I have opted to go for the 235 vice the 263 because the C-15 is a very
low geared 4 x 4. UK list members told me the top convoy speed was 30
mph and that I should be vary of putting too big a power plant in the
truck. The temptation to push it too fast would get me in trouble
again.

I understand the 216 and the 235 share the same physical deminsions
for the block. I will take my tape measure along and verify.

Hemmings Motor News puts out an Annual that lists a number of shops
that cater to our period motors (if not green things). I don't have it
to hand at the moment, but there is one company that sells "swap
packages" and has a tech line to call for info. I will post it
tonight.

Thanks to all the folks that responded with info!!!!!!!

After the breakdown at FIG, so many MV owners helped me out that it
really gives you a good feeling about the folks in this hobby!

Thanks guys!
Jim
