I am participating in the ground-up restoration/remanufacture of a 1943 Ford
of Canada Universal/Bren Carrier --mostly MK II but with some MK I* pieces.
Have completed hull,running gear, most controls and getting deeply into
detail stuff. Relying on original manuals and part books as well as
examination of complete vehicles at Virginia Museum of Mil Vehicles as check
on authenticity and assembly. Would like to hear from anyone who has a
running,functional example or has a lot of experience with this type of
vehicle
and has the patience to reply to any questions we have in the future. By
Spring, will be in final assembly/shakedown phase and will need all the
help/advice we can get. If you think you can be of help, drop a reply to
