I have a 1960's M718A1 that still has USMC stencilled on the rear
panel.

It has the army front bumper, is this correct, or
should it have the Marine bumper?

Dear Joe,

It is unlikely that you have a 1960's M718A1..... if it says it was delivered
in the 60's, then it is an M718..... The M718A1 was not delivered until 1970.

It should have the long USMC front bumper with the shackes at each end. At the
wheel hubs, it should have plain, square hubs...... not the tiedown eyes as
seen on non-USMC 1/4-tonner trucks.

Does it still have the dashboard data plate? If so, what does that say?

Kind regards

Ken
