Hi List

I've just added a Bedford QL Radio Truck to my collection - I understand
from a fellow enthusiast that it has a "Command" body.

To kit this beast out properly I need the following radio sets:

19 Set MK2 - Preferably Canadian Manufacture - Complete with PSU, Vario,
Mountings, Cabling, Aerial Bases, Control Boxes etc.

R107 Receiver Set

53 Set and associated cabling.

And ... Correct Generating Set for locker.

If anyone can help me with any of these items - preferably in the UK, though
I will consider anywhere in the world depending on cost - I'd be really
grateful.

It would be nice to get the radios in working condition - at the least, a 19
set and R107, then I might see about getting a radio licence.

Additionally I need to find Ten of the 7 ft Mast sections to put in the rack
on the side of the truck.

If anyone has experience and advice about kitting out a QLR with such
equipment, their input would also be very welcome.

Some background about the QLR - it was built in 1944, it retains most of the
original fittings such as bell push mechanisms, light fittings, fans, PTO
unit, suppressed ignition etc -all of which still work. The Interior
partitions, benching, seats, lockers, Blackboard and other fittings are
still there too.

One curious item is a small square hatch in the centre of the roof - can't
be a sun-roof... any ideas?

Many Thanks
