I was un aware that gaskets for the MB/GPW were anything special or hard to
find. I purchased all the engine gaskets for my GPW from a local auto
store and they were made by Fel Pro, one of the best modern gasket makers.
Now it is true that I bought a complete engine kit, later I had to buy a
seperate head and pan casket due to a screw-up in the rebuild, but the set
was not very expensive and even if you only need the exaust/ intake / carb
gasket at the moment it is a good idea to have spare gaskets on hand.
Besides, not havinga ny shipping would lower the price a touch.
