I am trying to determine the year of the engine in my 1942 GPW (Frame S/N
GPW53430)
The engine head, has an "F" ford script symbol
The block S/N behind the oil filter is 441-75746
Rt. side of block above oil pan, it has a Casting Number. 3-13 638632 N1 CR N2
Left side of block just behind fuel pump a casting number of 20
There is a double pulley installed on the front of the crankshaft
The clutch pressure plate is not with three ears, as listed in my manual.
The clutch pressure plate is a completely circular unit, like a dish
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance
