I live here just south of KC Mo. I'm familiar with the yard of salvage
vehicles off the interstate at Concordia Mo. I've stopped there once or
twice. One time I asked about some parts for my M38A1 I had just bought
the month before in Lincoln Ne. The guy there told me "no, I dont sell
any parts off them, their all for restoration." I then asked how much
for the whole vehicle and was told $3,000. Upon closer look I realized
it was one of the vehicles I had been bidding on at Lincoln and it was
sold for about $700. I dont have a reason to be upset for a guy for
making a $ but I thought his prices were a little high. He buys a lot of
stuff at the auctions around here for almost nothing. Funny, dont know
anybody that ever bought anything from him. Maybe its a front. Don't
even want to get into the rumours behind his background involving
"missing" Gov't. surplus he was responsible for and subsequent prison
time. Deal with an open mind and watchful eye. Good luck, Steve
