Hi Richard!

Thanks for the info. I dug a little deeper and my copy of the F-15
drivers handbook (Ironic, I have a Chevy instead). and the
illustrations showed two tapped holes on the right head, just to
either side of the water intake and one tapped hole on the left head,
just aft of the water intake. The drawings showed SOMETHING screwed
into the hole on the left head. It maybe showing a single wire, but I
can't be sure. I am guessing that is the sender.

Well, I need one. Nigel also replied with the address of a shop in
Essex that specializes in V8 parts. The cost to mail such a small part
won't be a problem....just need to find one.

I think the "U" shaped thing is some kind of Arctic heater to keep the
radiater water from freezing. It really is too masive to be just a
temp pickup.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers!
Jim
