Hi List,
After Richard and Nigel clued me in to Nordian Services in Essex, UK I
gave them a call. Wally didn't have the 6 volt electrical water temp
sending unit in stock, but he gave me the name of the company he gets
them from....Joblot Automotive in NY.
He also gave me the part number and some general info on CMPs, Fords
and restorations. Great guy!

I called Joblot and they had the part. It came the next day along with
a catalog.

If you use a 6 volt electrical system, this place has all the bulbs
you are likely to need, plus the original 1930/40 style sockets and
wiring.
They even have WWII surplus tools; i.e. Genuine Ford spark plug & head
nut spanner wrench..4.95.

Obviously, most of the listing is for civilian cars and trucks, but if
your OD baby was made by Ford, or, as in the case of the electrical
sockets and bulbs, are acceptable replacements, give these guys a call
for a catalog.

Joblot Automotive Inc.
Ford parts Specialists
98-11 211th St.
Queens Village NY 11429
718-468-8585

I am not connected in any way with anyone there, except for spending
my money there. I found things I have been looking for for over 2
years!

Cheers

Jim

BTW, Thanks Nigel and Richard! And Wally!
